My name is Laura and I moved to Wales (UK) from Ontario Canada in 2008. I miss my family in Canada like crazy, but I have made the happiest home here in the wilds of the Welsh mountains.
Crafting has always been a passion of mine, and one I found myself more and more immersed in over the past ten years (since I've had kids!). I absolutely love making magical creatures and creepy accoutrement and the wonderful reactions from my fabulous customer base puts a grin on my face every time. Our customers, the Darksiders, are one of the reasons I do what I do. You're all magical!
The other reason I do what I do, is my amazing family. My reason for being. My fantastic long-suffering husband (who has had to get used to craft materials on every surface and in every possible storage space in our home) makes me the happiest wife in the world. I was lucky to find a man as excited and obsessed by all things dark and macabre as me! We got married on Hallowe'en 2018. The best wedding anniversary date ever!
AND...my magical misfits! Our two phenomenal daughters, aged 10 and nearly 2. They complete our crazy world and love all things punky, weird, spooky and ghoulish just as much as us. We may just be the modern-day Addams Family! Except the outdoor pursuits version LOL. Here they are with Luna our delicious Darkside dog.
